Suspect In Murder Of 12 Year Old Alajawan Brown No Stranger To Loss
Witnesses say that when Curtis Walker allegedly shot 12 year old Alajawan in the back, it was because Walker mistook Alajawan as someone who had been involved in a shooting nearby, only moments before.
Instead, an innocent child was shot in the back; he would die within minutes.
Alajawan has been described by his parents, siblings, friends, the KC Prosecutor and Sheriff, as a “good kid” who loved football and was working extra chores to earn money to cover the cost of joining a team. The day he died, Alajawan had just bought a pair of new cleats, and was on his way home. He never made it back to his family. His parents and family suffer daily with grief few can comprehend- that which comes with losing a child.
Ironically, this level of grief is familiar to Mr. Walker. His wife, identified in court documents as Shaleese Walker, lost her so, D’Mario Moreland, a year ago when he drown in a Federal Way lake; June 15, 2009.
