The Lottery Ticket: The hold-on-to-your-pipe-dream-of-sudden-riches-to-get-you-out-of-the-ghetto-without-actually-doing-sh*t Feel Good Movie Of The Year!!!

April 3, 2010

This has NAACP Image Award alllll over it.

Behold, a heartwarming story about having no hope of accomplishing anything through intellect, ingenuity, or work- but the state stepped in to save your Black American triflin’ ass with the lottery (aka the tax on the stupid)!

[vsw id=”DRROjYGtAY8″ source=”youtube” width=”325″ height=”244″ autoplay=”no”]

Who could pass up another opportunity to see another movie with young Black women dressed to show off weaves, lips, ass and titties all propped up on platform hookah heels, while the men (little M) run around getting their bright-yellow-do-rag-to-match-my-car thug on?

This blaxploitation film is expected to be followed up by the highly anticipated Black American documentary; Banking Error: In My Favor and Right on Time – a Tyler Perry film.

I started a group on Facebook–“Welfare Queens–Debunking the Myths” after seeing not ONE group with any real knowledge about welfare, reform, or the recipients. If you’re on FB, I’d love to get your feedback and feel free to join! I am trying to do something (I’m a social worker, I can’t help it) about the horribly misinformed masses lurking about and feel as though you may have lots of insight. Thanks!
