Austria’s 5 year old Felix Fritzl “making progress” after leaving cellar
The boy, who had never seen daylight while caged in a windowless underground cellar by father Josef is now showing improvement and has stopped communicating by grunts. He is also walking normally. The doctors are captivated by how he reacts to sunlight.

According to Austrias biggest newspaper “Kronen Zeitung”, the 5-year-old son of Josef Fritzl Felix, was very excited about his first time in a car when he was released from his prison in the cellar, and brought to his new home with the other family members.
For you and me it’s nothing special to go to work everyday, see the nature, houses, and other people walking through the streets.
For 5-year-old Felix it was the very first time. The little boy was born in the dungeon of Amstetten, and had to stay there his first 5 years. He knew the world outside his dungeon only from television.
According to the “Kronen Zeitung”, he was watching out of the car window the whole way through with open mouth. To a policeman he said: “the world is so nice”.
It’s difficult not to be touched by such a story.

How can Felix - and the other kids - possibly fail to thrive? If they inherited even a fraction of their mother’s strength of character
or her powerful will and mind, then they’ll be some of finest young people around.
And even if they didn’t inherit any of that (which I would find hard to believe), they have been and will continue to be taught and influenced
by her. No doubt life will be a challenge, but in a short while, it’ll be the healthy sort of challenge. The kind that they’ll feel
satisfaction in overcoming.
I’m very sad and upset for what they’ve been through, but I’m growing very optimistic about their future. May we all do our part to guard
their privacy and well-being.
Where was God during the 24 years Elisabeth was in the cellar? I don’t believe this was “his plan.” He should have blessed her years ago and prevented this from happening, if he exists.

Felix you’re such a very strong boy. Now is the start of your brand new life. There’s so many wonderful things you would discover as you gradually trying to recover from the trauma of a bad experience.Dont be afraid of your new world. You’re so dear. Dont worry baby, God will always be with you and your family. Get well soon to your mother brothers & sisters..I know your past contain a very sad story of your life…but dont let it control your life now. Just be glad that you escaped from that situation. Be strong to face the new world of wonders. Take care always!
